Improving SpellChecking: an effective Ad-Hoc probabilistic lexical measure for general typos

<p>Since the era of learning to write by human beings, mistakes made in typing words have occupied a privileged place linguistic studies, integrating new disciplines into school curricula such as spelling and dictation. According exhaustive studies that we done field spellchecking errors Arabic texts, very few research works deal with typographical specifically caused insertion or missing blank-space words. On other hand, correction software remains ineffective for handling this type errors. Failure process due insertion/missing blankspace between leads brings us back situations ambiguity incomprehension meaning typed text. To remedy limitation correction, propose article an ad-hoc probabilistic method which is based jointly on two approaches. The first approach treats deletion inside words, while second puts emphasis correcting space word course addition kinds elementary editing (addition, deletion, permutation characters). Our combines edit distance n-gram language models correct already mentioned. gave accuracy rate reaches 98,14% (noted MBSE) 89,5% blank-dpace IBSE), gives average around 95,26%. These results are encouraging show interest importance our approach.</p>
